It's fun to almost relive the trip with someone who knows what you're talking about.

You are so very fortunate to live in this beautiful part of the world, at least in the warmer months of the year:-) I really had no idea that I would enjoy this trip as much as I did. Actually, as much as we all did. I, unfortunately can't take this one off my bucket list. I want to go back!

Merry Christmas,
TerriCache-Mirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16372111386401886195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501847612280466808.post-62073213010775502082013-12-11T11:05:55.788-05:002013-12-11T11:05:55.788-05:00Hi Terri! I am very happy you liked it here in the Maritimes and your posts and photos reflect that you did enjoy yourselves.
November was very rainy here as you found out but as you said there were no tourists and the city was yours to discover.
Isn't George's Island a unique spot? And to think that it will open to the public is quite a change for us to contemplate. will be different.
Lobster, I grew up with it and actually don't really care for it but I do see the attraction....it is quite the process to shell it, isn't it?

And PEI, my second home away from home! My mother's parents were both born there and my family spent the summers there when I was a kid. I still return usually every summer for a few weeks. Isn't it quiet there? And you are so correct....SO CLEAN! And those perfectly manicured HUGE front and back lawns!! My favourite place to be in the summer is PEI. Winters are unbelievably cold.

Cape Breton/Cheticamp/Cabot Trail......what can I say? God's country! The Trail is breathtaking!
And those Acadian villages/towns are very quaint.

And Anne (with an 'e') of Green Gables! Charming and so inviting. Lucy Maude captured millions of imaginations, didn't she?

Terri, so glad you had a good time here. Now back to some warmth I hope....heard that the south was having cold temps too!!

Take care and thanks for sharing this and 'seeing' you at my post. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Jim

Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11199777195853274898noreply@blogger.com
