Grow Your Blog ~ Party with a Giveaway!

Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by!  I am truly excited to get to meet so many people from around the world and learn more about you and your interests and passions.

For those of you who don't know me...

My name is Terri and I am a basket maker, knitter and photographer with a travel habit.  My blog is mostly about my creations with needles, both pine and knitting.  I love to feel the texture of things. The softest yarns and silks and the smoothness of a finished basket are some of what I live for.  And although these crafts are almost polar opposites, I've found that my creativity blooms during the in-between times of working on one or the other.  Since there's really no reason to choose between the two, I continue to do both.  I've also come up with a crazy idea on a project which will combine both and am designing it now.  So come back to see my progress :-)

My husband and I also love to travel, and to document our trips with photos and opinions. Here is where I get to share my photos, adventures and experiences...with you.

My giveaway... a small sweetgrass pendant.

Everyone who leaves a comment on this post will be entered to win one of my handmade pendants. This one is made from sweetgrass. The winner will be announced HERE on February 15th.  Please make sure that your comment includes your email or blog so that I can reach you if you are the winner!

The winner of the Giveaway is Una at Great Balls of Wool.
Thank you to all who visited and participated

Thank you, Vicki at 2 Bags Full for hosting this wonderful event!

And thank you for taking the time to stop by.  I hope you will come back and visit again so we can get to know each other.

     Unitl next time ...

Nova Scotia...Peggy's Cove and the end of the journey

All too soon our journey was ending.  It's amazing how quickly the time goes when visiting new and exciting places with good friends.  But we still had another stop and the day couldn't have been better for visiting Peggy's Cove.

Bright blue skies greeted us as we explored this remarkable village.  There's nothing more I can say than what the photos show.  It was lovely!

We have traveled far and wide but our Nova Scotia trip ended up being one of the most unexpectedly amazing and beautiful places that we've been to.  The residents every where we went were the nicest folks and seemed to really enjoy and appreciate the fact that we chose to visit them.  Beautiful scenery, uncrowded, nice people...we will definitely go back!

                        Until next time...
