But this past week I've really been focusing on finishing and I thought I'd share my little accomplishments.
I started with this multicolor crocheted hat
made from I Love This Yarn which is very soft.
But the hat needed more...
so I made a pair of fingerless gloves.
Really easy to do!
I'll be making more of these.
See how nice they look?
Another unfinished project was this scarf.
I had bought this really expensive yarn that's like ribbon yarn,
nearly impossible to use unless you're an expert
which I am not.
So I added a soft, beige yarn and knit the two together.
It turned out much better than the photo.
The last project was another little hat for my sweet Sarah.
Made of the softest pink and white yarn I could find.
She seems to like it:-)
Now time to go back to some basket making!
Until next time...
Terri
Congratulations on finishing these lovely projects. I especially like the colors of the cap with matching finger-less gloves, so very pretty!
ReplyDeleteBlesses,
Lynn
Thanks, Lynn. It feels good to finish things and I'm inspired to do more. Hopefully this feeling will last until I do:-)

Terri
LOL, I have the same problem, especially when I go into a yarn store and find new yarn I really have to have, new project here I come!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your hat/glove combo, very cheery!
Happy Valentines Day!
Diana
Oh, yarn shops are my nemosis!!! I almost want to buy the hook or needles there so I can begin on the way home! Glad I'm not alone in that regard:-)
DeleteHugs,
Terri
I love these. I've been knitting lots of hats and scarves lately. The crochet fingerless mitts look easy enough even for my novice skills, so I might add them to my list.
ReplyDeleteThese gloves are sooooo.... easy! They are basically a rectangle sewn together with a hole in the middle for your thumb! You should try them. It adds variation to the hats and scarves, which is what I tend to do as well.

Terri
Very nice finish! Love the gloves.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debbie :-) They are fun to make!

Now I have to get back to my latest project .....a round throw. I'm about halfway through.
Good to see you today at my post.

But Vicki, I still don't know how you manage to do all you do! All of those marvelous wraps (btw- I've made one and as soon as it's finished - hehehe - will post a photo of it:-), nests, baby items...plus working and blogging...amazing...
DeleteHugs,
Terri
I have a pretty good case of finishitis, too. Way too many WIPS here!
ReplyDeleteRudee, It's nice to know there are others with this problem:-) although you seem to get a lot finished. Have been following your move and hope you are getting adjusted and settled in. Then more time for knitting!
DeleteHugs,
Terri
I agree with you completely! I presently have four projects waiting to be completed. Oops, no, that would be five. I too love to start new projects. I do eventually finish them all. I am the same way with books. I will read three or four books at a time, but like my projects, I do finish my books too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words on my blog.
